Communities Today participation was a joint effort by multiple Orthodox
groups including, the Standing conference of the Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas and,

- Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America
- Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese of the USA and Canada
- Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of the USA
- Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America
- Orthodox Church in America
- Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas
- Serbian Orthodox Church in the USA
- Ukranian Orthodox Church
The joint Orthodox participation in the
FACT 2000 project included a survey of churches randomly chosen from a listing of
Orthodox congregations in the United States. A total of 346 questionnaires
were returned. View

Several persons were involved in
collecting the 2000 Orthodox information. Eleni Makris was a key researcher,
Fr. Nicholas Apostola was the person charged with encouraging denominational congregations to
use this information, and Nikki Stephanopolous was the media contact person for this
information. The person collecting the 2005 Orthodox material was Alexei Krindatch akrindatch@aol.com
