The Unitarian Universalist Association

The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is a theologically liberal,  religious group.  It was officially incorporated as an organization in 1961 as a result of the consolidation of the Universalist Church of American and the American Unitarian Association.  The UUA currently has approximately 502,000 members with 992 congregations in the United States.

The Unitarian Universalist Association participation in the FACT project included a survey of all the 992 congregations in the United States.  A total of 497 questionnaires were returned for a 50.1% response rate.  View the version of the questionnaire used by the Unitarian Universalist Association.

If you are interested in obtaining specific information about the results of the Unitarian Universalist Association survey, please contact Charlotte Cowtan:

Several persons were involved in collecting the Unitarian Universalist information.   John Hurley, jhurley@uua.org, is the media contact person for this information.
